The Cox Family

Meet the Cox family! Yesterday afternoon my sister and I had an amazing session with Chris, Shelly and their adorable twin girls - Kaylee and Presley. Because the girls are turning one in June, Shelly really wanted to capture their cuteness to use in their memory books and on birthday invites.

Here are a few of my favorites of this really sweet family.

Don't you just want to squeeze them both?

Chris and Shelly are a super hot couple! Now you know where the girls get their looks from...

Shelly told me that her sister and niece made these tutus for the girls!!! They were absolutely perfect.

Don't you just know Kaylee and Presley are going to break many hearts someday...

Eyeing the cake...

Chris and Shelly, thank you so much for allowing us to capture these special moments in your family's life.

Ann Marie and Ryan: Wedding

I shot an amazing wedding last evening with Tara on the bride's family ranch in Spicewood. They had so many great photo locations, I had a difficult time choosing my favorites and ended up with a rather long post!

The gorgeous bride Ann Marie.

The handsome groom Ryan.

And a glimpse at the beautiful ceremony.

I love the light in this photo.

The entire wedding party wore boots - what a cute idea!

This old blue truck was absolutely perfect for photos.

Ryan was all smiles when he saw Ann Marie for the first time.

Ann Marie and Ryan, thank you for sharing your day with me. I wish you happily ever after.

Aaron and Christi: Wedding

As I entered Christi's hotel room on Saturday afternoon, her contagious laugh filled the air. She and her three bridesmaids had just finished putting the final touches on their getting ready process and were taking a few photos before heading to a really cool spot Tara had found in downtown Marble Falls. The warm April afternoon was absolutely perfect for an outdoor wedding and I was thrilled to be second shooting again with Tara!

Christi and Aaron met while in college and both share a love for the lake, so it was only fitting that they wanted to start the first day of the rest of their lives together overlooking Lake Marble Falls.

The guys were a lot of fun and ready to try anything. Here they are showing us their cool ninja moves.

And because I couldn't resist...here is Aaron's younger brother goofing off right before we headed to the ceremony site.

This little girl was so cute - she made sure she didn't miss a single moment by standing in the isle.

The cakes were made by a close friend - they were really cute.

Aaron and Christi, thank you for sharing your day with me. I wish you happily ever after.

Kevin and Jennifer: Engagement

Kevin proposed on Valentine's Day and I've been dying to have sister take a few engagement photos of us, especially since the weather has been so nice lately. This past weekend we headed out into the country, on one of sister's old road trip routes, and ended up at "Piano Bridge" in Dubina, Texas.

Here are a few of my very favorites from the day...sorry for the big post...

My very favorite from the day...

Ooh la la!!

Another favorite...

And just because I feel like the luckiest girl in the world...I want to show off my hot guy!

Thanks for so many great photos sister! Now I can finally fill all those blank frames on my living room wall.

Bluebonnets aren't just for little girls...

Kevin and I had just walked into the house when my sister begged me to go back out to the Bluebonnet patch and snap a few pictures of her. After just having left there a few hours earlier, and having had so much fun, I thought it would awesome to get a few more shots in. Even mom came out to watch her very grown-up girls play in the Bluebonnets.

Sister is one of my other favorites to take pictures of, and I bet you can see why...

And just because I wanted to see if she could still bust out some of her old cheerleading moves...

Hey...I think she represented pretty well!
